Just in time for summer, replica Breitling has introduced a vibrant collection of dive watches perfect for the sun, surf, and sand. While we’ve seen these colorful “Skittles” dials from replica Breitling before in the Superocean Heritage ’57 line, this marks their first appearance in the Superocean Automatic models. Available in two sizes, two types of metals, and a range of bright rubber straps, replica Breitling offers five new Superocean Automatic 42 and 36 rainbow-dial watches.
Like the other vintage-inspired models in the replica Breitling Superocean Automatic collection launched in 2022, these watches feature a bold minute scale around the outer edge of the dial, large hour markers, and paddle-style minute hands. The standout rainbow effect is achieved through Super-LumiNova in shades of yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, red, and orange, applied to the hands and indexes.
Apart from the new white and black dials with rainbow details, these Superocean Automatic 42 models are otherwise the same as the existing catalog entries. They feature 42mm cases (12.56mm thick and 47.76mm lug-to-lug) with a 300-meter water resistance. All the rainbow models are made from stainless steel and have ratcheted bezels with black ceramic inserts. To complement the colorful dials, the rubber straps come in turquoise (ref. A17375211B2S1), aquamarine (ref. A17375211B2S2), orange (ref. A17375211B2S), and yellow (ref. A17375211B2S4), all paired with stainless steel folding clasps.
If the 42mm models evoke a lively beach scene full of bright umbrellas, beach balls, and towels, then the replica Breitling Superocean Automatic 36 (ref. U17377211A1S1) is more like a luxurious poolside retreat, with white cabanas swaying in the breeze and chilled drinks in hand. This model features a 36mm stainless steel case (12.21mm thick, 42.41mm lug-to-lug) with a red gold bezel and a white ceramic insert, along with a red gold crown. The white dial is complemented by luminous hands and indices, though they appear more subdued against the pale background compared to the black version. The watch is finished with a matching white rubber strap with a stainless-steel folding clasp.
Inside the Clone Breitling Superocean Automatic 42 and 36 rainbow-dial watches is the COSC-certified Caliber 17 automatic movement, based on the ETA 2824-2, which operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of about 38 hours.
